I was formerly
a Director of New Business Opportunities for a major
U.S. corporation, and was Chairman of a U.S.
biotechnology company until I
retired from that position in 2002. I graduated
from Massachusetts Institute of Technology’s
Sloan School of Management, have
a Ph.D. in Natural Sciences from Cambridge
University, UK, spent one year at the Technische
Hochschule, Aachen, Germany, and have
a Bachelor’s degree in metallurgical
engineering from Sheffield University, UK. I
have helped found several technology startup
companies, and have
held many positions on boards for industry and
professional organizations.
